A note on the dates of pictures: to help us remember in the future when each of these things happened, we're dating the posts on the blog as close as possible to when the photo was taken, as opposed to when we get around to putting it on the web

This means that there will be times, like now, when we put up a bunch of photographs from the last month that aren't close to the top of the queue. If you don't get your A fix from just two or three photographs feel free to scroll back as far as January 12th for the shots we posted tonight

A gets visitors from all over

E.N.K. esq. gets bonus doting friend points for coming all the way from Ghana to admire little A, who obliging only spit up on his fashionable, continental threads once. We were glad he was able to attend a professionally-relevant conference while he was in town to offset the cost of trans-Atlantic A worship

A smile: first in a series

Our digital camera has a slight delay between when you click and when it takes the picture. As a result we now have several dozen photos of A a couple of seconds after a smile, in which she's usually moved on to something else like sneezing on the camera or spitting up on her mother. This one didn't come out perfectly, but it's the best we have so far. More to come.
