Meow!

A got VERY into handing out candy, her recent stranger anxiety completely nonexistent. At every lull in the action she'd climb down the steps, peer down the street and ask hopefully "More kids?" We had a blast. She trick or treated at a couple neighbor houses, too, and that was almost but not quite as much fun.

JP Lantern Parade

One of our favorite annual events is the Lantern Parade around the Pond. It's always the weekend before Halloween, so the kids get to try our their costumes in advance.

Another second generation friends visit

We got this chair for $2 at a church yard sale. A *loves* it! As does Fuzz...

Smolak's

On Sunday we had a great time at Smolak's apple farm, where we gorged on cider and donuts, and A was thrilled to pet some sheep, feed goats and llamas, and lift heavy pumpkins.

R Family Reunion

We had a great long weekend with relatives on the R side, including Grandma D's sisters Aunt S and Aunt M, Uncle M, Cousins S and L, and L's 6-yr-old R ("Wooby").





Grandpa is so strong, he can lift up A and R!
